Q. Hello
dear Kate.
Here we are
again. The
last
interview
you gave me
for the site
was back in 2001.
Four years
later, this
website is
bigger than
ever and the
websites
dedicated to
you are even
more in
number. How
does it feel
that there
are so many
fans out
there,
die-hard
fans that
really love
you, support
you and
follow your
life and
career?
Kate
Jackson:
I am so very
grateful
that there
are people
who are
interested
in me and my
career. It
amazes me
how friendly
people are
when they
recognize me
on the
street and
brighten my
day with
something
nice they
want to say.
I appreciate
all the
support from
the fans all
over the
world and
wish I could
thank each
and every
one
personally!
I hope they
know how
much their
support and
interest
means to me,
and that I
never take
it for
granted!
Q. How was
your
experience
filming No
Regrets. I
must admit
it was a
really
clever
script and
the cast was
great. You
had a very
sweet and
intimate
scene with
Edward
Albert at
the end of
the film
where you
both
cried. How
did it feel
to costar
again with
Edward
Albert after
so many
years.
Kate
Jackson:
I had a
wonderful
time filming
"No
Regrets". We
shot it in
Nashville,
Tennessee in
the fall and
it was a
very
romantic
time of
year. I
loved
working with
Edward
again. We
hadn't seen
each other
in
twenty-five
years and it
was a
wonderful
reunion. Our
scene
together at
the end of
the film was
quite
personal and
we were both
moved by it.
Rarely do
you have the
opportunity
to work with
someone with
whom you
have had a
close
relationship.
Q. Do you
have any
plans for a
new movie or
any upcoming
project?
Kate
Jackson:
I was going
to Vancouver
to do a
film, but
because of
the injury
to my foot
and ankle
I've had to
drop out of
it. It was
not the
greatest
film in the
world, so
I'm not all
that
disappointed.
Still, it is
always good
to work!
Q. Please
describe a
typical day
of yours.
Kate
Jackson:
My typical
day begins
when the
clock rings
at 6:30 and
I get up,
dress, wake
Taylor, go
into the
kitchen to
make his
breakfast
and feed our
dog. After
he eats and
dresses, I
drive him to
school. Then
I go to the
gym for my
workout to
get that out
of the way.
At noon, I
usually meet
a friend for
lunch, shop,
or stay home
and catch up
on my letter
writing or
other work.
At 2:30 I
pick Taylor
up and take
him to his
golf lesson,
or piano
lesson, or
baseball
practice, or
whatever is
going on
that day. If
he doesn't
have
anything
planned to
do, we do
something
that we just
choose to do
together, or
he plays
with a
friend of
his. At 6 we
eat dinner,
he does his
homework (I
help him if
he asks me
to), then we
get ready
for bed. We
read for
thirty
minutes
before going
to sleep. I
set the TV
to record
any program
that might
be on that
night so I
can watch it
some other
time, set
the clock,
and try to
get a good
night's
sleep so I
am fresh for
all the
things the
next day
will hold.
Q. Your son
Taylor must
be around 10
now. How
does it feel
to see him
growing up
every day
and play the
major and
most
important
part in his
life as his
mother?
Kate
Jackson:
Being
Taylor's
mother is
the most
wonderful
"part" I
have ever
played! I am
so full of
love for
him! He
gives my
life so much
meaning and
we have a
wonderful
relationship.
He is
growing so
fast! I
can't
believe it!!
I try to be
as involved
in his life
as I can and
we have a
great time
doing things
together. We
both
treasure our
time
together and
he makes me
so proud!
Q. Last year
you
mentioned an
upcoming
Charlie's
Angels
related
project .Is
there any
possibility
to see
something in
the future
about our
favorite
original
Charlie's
Angels? Can
you believe
that the
Charlie's
Angels craze
is still big
as ever?
With all the
DVD releases
and re-runs
there are so
many new
fans in the
world. How
do you feel
about it?
Kate
Jackson:
There is a
"Charlie's
Angels"
project in
the wind. I
don't know
if it will
really
happen or
not, but I'm
keeping my
fingers
crossed that
it will! It
is amazing
that with
the DVDs and
reruns there
are new fans
every day.
Who ever
would have
thought it
would still
be so
popular
today! It
makes me
feel very
grateful
that fans
still want
to watch the
original
series so
many years
after we did
it. I really
do think a
reunion
would be
great!
Q. Do you
still keep
in touch
with Farrah
and Jaclyn?
Kate
Jackson:
Farrah and
Jaclyn and I
are still
good friends
who speak to
each other
as often as
we can and
see each
other when
we're all in
town at the
same time.
We have a
very strong
bond of
friendship
from the
first days
of the
series that
I think will
always stay
with us. We
all truly
care about
each other.
Q. If you
could turn
back the
time and
start again
in the
Charlie's
Angels era,
what you
would change
about your
character or
the concept
of the
series? Would
you change
anything in
your life???
Kate
Jackson:
If I could
turn back
time, I
wouldn't
change a
thing about
the series.
There are a
couple of
mistakes I
made in my
personal
life that I
would be
smart enough
to avoid
making
again,
though, but
even those
aren't very
big
mistakes. So
basically I
think I can
say that I
wouldn't
change
anything.
Q. How much
time do you
spent on the
internet?
Kate
Jackson:
I use the
Internet for
research and
things of
that sort.
It is
incredibly
interesting
what you can
learn or
accomplish
on the
Internet. I
do some
Internet
shopping,
especially
for books.
Q. Do you
collect
anything?
Kate
Jackson:
No, I don't
collect
anything. I
have a
collection
of antique
chairs, but
I've stopped
adding to
it. Too many
already!!
Q. If your
life would
become a
film what
title you
would give?
Kate
Jackson:
I'll have to
think about
the title
for the film
about my
life...but
it would
probably be
something
like "Me: So
Far, So
Good!".
Q. Which
actress you
would like
to play you
in the film?
Kate
Jackson:
There are so
many fine
young
actresses
now it would
be very hard
for me to
choose one
to play me.
Who do you
think?
Q. How do
you feel
right at
this very
minute where
you answer
questions
for a fan
site
dedicated to
you?
Kate
Jackson:
I feel very
grateful
that there
is a site
dedicated to
me and that
people are
interested
enough in me
to want to
know more
about me. I
especially
feel
grateful to
my friend,
Christos.
Q. Please
let me know
what you
feel about
the
following
projects of
yours:
Kate
Jackson:
How I feel
about the
following
projects:
"Killer
Bees"...
The
movie I met
Edward on
and in which
I worked
with the
screen
legend,
Gloria
Swanson. It
was a kick!
"Death at
Love
House"... I
loved
working with
RJ Wagner
and Joan Blondell and
Sylvia
Sydney. I
don't
remember it
as being a
very good
movie,
though.
"Inmates: A
Love
Story"...
Loved
working with
Perry King.
Really
enjoyed
making the
movie. Lots
of fun on
the set
between
shots. Great
cast and
crew.
"Loverboy"...
Loved
working with
Patrick
Dempsey...but
thought the
whole thing
was a little
bit silly.
"Black
Death"...
Shot
in Toronto,
I think, and
it was
COLD!!!!
Jerry Orbach
was a great
pal. This
one doesn't
really stand
out in my
mind as
anything I
remember
anything
very special
about.
"Cold Heart
of a
Killer"...
Loved
working in
the Yukon
and in
Alaska. It
was a real
adventure. I
did my own
stunts and
rode the
sled-but the
way it was
shot, you
couldn't
even tell it
was really
me!!
"Miracle
Dogs"...
Lots
of fun. Very
relaxed and
low key.
Taylor was
on location
with me and
he had a
great time
with the
dogs and the
puppies!
"Sabrina,
The Teenage
Witch..."...
Easy
hours,
relaxed,
enjoyable.
"Third
Watch"...
Great
cast and
crew! Very
intense
work. Felt
like really
acting
again, doing
that crazy
woman!
Q. You have
received the
Power of
Love award
from the
American
Heart
Association.
Please let
us know more
things about
this event
and your
role in the
AM. Heart
Association.
Kate
Jackson:
I have been
involved
with The
American
Heart
Association
for quite a
few years. I
have been
their
Spokesperson,
and, as you
said,
received the
"Power of
Love "
award, which
was quite an
honor. I
think they
do such
great work.
Do yourself
a favor and
visit their
website for
some
information
you be glad
you
learned-no
matter how
old or young
you may be!
Q. Where can
fans write
to you?
Kate
Jackson:
To be
perfectly
honest, I
don't know
where to
write to me.
Perhaps c/o
my agent,
David
Shipira.
I'll have to
get back to
you on that
one. You
could always
write to
CBS...
