Charlie's
Angels
frenzy
back
in
1977
Topps
Chewing
Gum
Company,
the
leader
in
sports
and
non-sports
trading
cards,
released
four
series
of
Charlie's
Angels
trading
Cards
(1977
-
1978).
This
was
Topps
most
popular
non-sports
series
in
terms
of
mass
appeal
and
the
first
to
reach
four
issues.
As
you
know
now,
the
first
series
consisted
of
fifty-five
cards.
The
second,
third,
and
fourth
series,
however,
were
made
in
sixty-six
card
sets;
making
the
total
number
of
cards
253.
The
first
two
series
featured
Jill,
Kelly
and
Sabrina,
and
the
last
two
series
featured
Kelly,
Kris,
and
Sabrina.
Topps
also
produced
eleven
sticker
cards
per
series.
Puzzle
pieces
were
printed
on
the
backs
of
the
trading
cards
making
pictures
of
the
three
angels
when
put
together
properly.
Each
wax
pack
had
five
cards,
one
sticker
card,
and
one
stick
of
Bazooka
bubble
gum.
